Lakeland HVAC Repair Service Experts
Our service technicians can repair any type of HVAC unit, including furnaces, central air conditioners, ductless mini-splits, and heat pumps. Fixing them is not a DIY option. These are all very complex systems with a lot of working components. Unfortunately, all it takes is one component malfunctioning to stop the entire operation of your unit. DIY HVAC repair also voids the warranty on these systems. When you experience a problem, we’re here to assist you every day of the week.
There are many reasons to rely on a competent professional repair service:
- Industry certification and expertise
- Appropriate tools
- Quick diagnosis
- Workmanship guarantee
- Peace of mind
One common problem that causes air conditioners to function poorly is the air filter. If it’s overly dirty, it’s restricting airflow throughout your system. Checking this is a great place to start and the only task we’d recommend a homeowner do on their own.
Another cause of insufficient cooling is a low refrigerant level inside the unit. Without adequate refrigerant, your air conditioner will be unable to remove heat from your home. If this is the case, you’ll need one of our HVAC technicians to check for and fix leaks, and recharge the refrigerant level in your air conditioner.
An issue you may experience with either your air conditioner or your heater is a thermostat that doesn’t work. If the screen is completely blank, there is a lack of power. This problem could be the result of something as simple as a dead battery or a tripped circuit breaker. On the other hand, the issue could be with the wiring, or the thermostat may be faulty and need replacing.
If you rely on a fuel-burning furnace to create heat for your home in the wintertime, you may experience a problem with its ignition or combustion components. If your thermostat seems to be working but your heater won’t start up, you’ll want to examine your unit more closely. You should see a spark going from the electric igniter to the burner. If there is no spark, you may have a faulty electric igniter, and you’ll need one of our professionals to replace it.
If your system is sending a spark to the burner but the burner won’t stay lit, it could be a couple of different problems. The burner may be dirty, preventing fuel from entering, or the flame sensor might not be allowing fuel to go to your burner. One of our repair technicians can further assess the root cause of the issue and repair it swiftly.
